Amaro the Dog needs a home

Amaro (named after the one & only Detective Amaro.... we're SVU fan!) is an Italian greyhound/ long coated chihuahua mix, 3 years old. He's been here since he was a pup. He's been here so long because he is shy- but once he gets to know you he is a playful boy who loves to chase balls or carry around empty water bottles. 



He's a little guy, about 10-11 lbs. He was very scrawny when he came in and had to be fattened up with extra calories in wet dog food. 



He remains very slim - we're thinking that's the Italian greyhound mix in him - long legs and very endearing.  Likes his people's lap - his BFF is Boboli - likes to wrestle with small males his size though he would be fine as your one and only, if you're giving him lots of love and attention.

 fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.  




The beauty of coming to our Apple Valley sanctuary is that you can see all 90+ dogs!  

No more weekend mobiles—only special events. Maybe if there are enuff appointments, we could see you in 

El Monte or Orange County or nearby. Email your application and ask for more details!
